A friend had a black fidget cube in high school and I’ve wanted one myself ever since. I got the fresh (green) colored one. It has a good variety of classic fidget options, and I really like the gears, metal ball, and joy stick most. It also survived a drop test on wooden floors (with the Prism on, mind you) without damage.

However, though I like it and it’s a great fidget, I find it really awkward to use for me. The side with the rolling ball is heavier than the rest of the cube, causing an uneven weight distribution in the hand which is frustrating to hold. It also feels and looks a bit cheaply made. The “Flip” button has such a weak resistance on my cube that it’s more similar to a see-saw than a button, I wish it was snappier like the clicky buttons. (It was like this before the drop test so I know that’s not why it’s like that).

My partner likes this cube though thankfully, so I’ll be giving it to him instead.

I didn’t think I needed something like this because I don’t mess with my hands very much. But after I got one, I realized how it helped me put energy elsewhere when I needed to. It frankly also is just nice for computer breaks.

The black one I received worked completely at first. But a couple days into use the spinning circle began to get caught on something.
