A friend had a black fidget cube in high school and I’ve wanted one myself ever since.
Pros:
- Came as described. Everything works as expected.
- Nice color (I picked the fresh (green) colored one).
- Good variety of classic fidget options in one toy without being overwhelming.
- Small size, fits nicely in the hand.
- Even in the short time I’ve had it, I’ve noticed it is helping with stress and anxiety.
- With the Prism on, it survived a drop test on wood floors from kitchen bench height without damage.
Cons:
- The side with the rolling ball is heavier than the rest of the cube, causing an uneven weight distribution which annoys me personally.
- Feels cheap and the seams in the plastic are a bit ugly (but the Prism covers them so I’m not too bothered).
- The “Flip” button has a weak resistance, and seems to favor one position so it feels and sounds different depending on which direction it’s flipped to. Idk if that’s intentional or not tho.
3.8 stars for me.
I didn’t think I needed something like this because I don’t mess with my hands very much. But after I got one, I realized how it helped me put energy elsewhere when I needed to. It frankly also is just nice for computer breaks.
Really great product such a fun gift I gave to my girlfriend’s little brother.
The black one I received worked completely at first. But a couple days into use the spinning circle began to get caught on something.
Really helpful for long calls or virtual lectures. Helps me focus. Texture is nice and the cube feels good in the hand. Hope the restock the gamer version because I want one.
